About Me

I was born in Philadelphia, PA, the first of two sons in our family.  My brother did not come into the scene until seven years later, allowing certain years of privilege as an only child.  Growing up in the city was an adventure, as was attending school there.  Finally at the age of fourteen, we moved to Newark, DE where we lived for a year before moving again to Oxford, PA.  In Oxford I finished high school and took on my first job as a bank teller in the local bank on Main Street.  Four years later I moved once more, this time to Dover, DE and lived there for two years before moving to New Castle where I currently reside.  I have two beautiful daughters and they are the center of attention for me.  In between school, the moves, the different jobs and my responsibilities as a father, writing has always been a big part of my life.

Although poetry had been my first love, and continues to hold a special place in me, I began writing short stories in high school for the benefit of my teachers and some of my classmates.  I didn’t really attempt to begin a novel till after graduating, but only writing three or four chapters and then quitting.  Years went by where all I wrote was poetry and the occasional story, but I had given up on my dream at writing a novel. 

That interest had recently sparked in me again, and I am glad to say that with sweat and tears I was able to finish my first novel, The Harbor House, in August of this year.  I am currently in the process of editing it and try to find someone interested in reading it.  Whether you found this site by mistake or on purpose, I welcome you to my world and encourage you to read on.
